Default any timeline for a fps fix

tried every self fix i have seen in the forums and nothing helps, was always able to run GW on max settings with no problems but now even on min settings there is no change to the fps rate.playing my main account i get from 1-15 fps with a general average of 7-8 fps.my old alt account (which only has proph and factions) runs 15-30 fps with the general average being 23-24 fps (which isn't as good as it was but at least it is playable).

the things i have tried are, unchecking the one of the dual cores, system de-frag,contig de-frag on GW dat file, checking for driver updates,re-downloading the newest version of directx 9c,messing with the graphics and audio settings and re-installing from the web client and from the cd's.there is probably more but those are the ones i remember doing off-hand.

so,anybody know if they are trying to fix this issue that many are having with the fps (i read they did a fix for certain nvidia cards).my card is radeon 9200.

The radeon 9200 is a bit too old school for GW:EN I think, seeing that there're some new fancy affect everywhere. I run AMD 64 X2, gf7900 gt sli, 3gb rams (I need them for premiere & adobe programs) at high resolution and max setting, I got about 40-80 fps in GW:EN. When compare to the earlier chapters, the fps was high double digits to mid triple digits.

amke sure thatthe previous ATi drivers have been uninstalled before installing the latest ones.

dual core CPU + ATi9200 = bottleneck.

Ill let you decide where the bottleneck in your system is. . .

Have you tried the -dx8 command line option? Forcing it down a direct X version might help, I guess.

With your card, it's normal that you experience a fps drop in GW:EN as said previously, they upgraded the graphics. -dx8 will surely help but will reduce your graphic quality. You can also try -noshaders it should help too although some textures won't be as good without shaders.
